Both packages are available in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Sapporo. Kawaguchiko and other regions outside our five main cities are available on the Premium package only. Outfit style (bridal, kimono, or Fancy Edge) does not change the price — additional cost only applies if you’d like our help coordinating makeup/hair, rentals, dressing, transport, or vendors, which is available on Premium. If you are planning something in another region on Essential, talk to us and we will find the best option for you.

Yes. If you have a spot in mind we will confirm it is a good fit. If not, we will recommend the best location based on your session type, the season, and your style. Trust the locals.
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance. During cherry blossom season (spring) and autumn foliage, book 2–3 months ahead. Last-minute bookings may be possible depending on availability, but earlier booking gives you more flexibility with photographer choice, timing, and locations.
Completely fine. Most of our clients feel the same way. Your photographer will guide you with simple, easy prompts so your photos look natural, not stiff or staged.
Family sessions accommodate up to 10 guests. The base price covers up to 5 people. For groups of 6 or more, an additional ¥7,500 per person applies. Let us know your headcount when you book and we will confirm the total before any payment is made.
Rain in Japan makes for beautiful photos — reflections, umbrellas, quieter streets. We always shoot unless conditions are genuinely unsafe. If you would prefer to reschedule, your photographer will discuss options with you.
Edited photos are delivered within 5–7 business days via a private online gallery. Pre-wedding sessions take 7–9 days. For proposals, you will also receive a same-day sneak peek.
We do not deliver RAW files. You will receive carefully edited high-resolution images in our signature style, ready to post and print.
Plans change — we understand. Cancellations are generally accepted up to 3 days before your session. For Fuji region shoots, it is 10 days. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
Yes. Couples, families, and proposal sessions are available anywhere in Japan. Pre-Wedding is available outside the standard cities on the Premium package only. Pricing for other destinations varies by location and travel. Talk to us with your plan and we will put together a quote.
