How It Works

Booking a photoshoot in Japan should feel simple.

Photo My Tokyo helps you book private photoshoots in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kawaguchiko (Mt. Fuji), and more. You’ll get English support, a photographer who makes you feel comfortable on camera, and photos you’ll love long after your trip.

 How it works (step-by-step)

1) Choose your destination

Pick where you want your photoshoot: Tokyo, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji (Kawaguchiko), or many others around Japan.

2) Tell us what you want

Couples, families, proposals, pre-weddings, or travel portraits.
Share your dates and what you’re hoping for. If you’re not sure yet, that’s completely fine.

3) We match you with the right photographer

We’ll recommend the best photographer for your style, location, and shoot type. (If you already have a photographer in mind, you can request them too.)

4) Plan the shoot (quick and easy)

We confirm the time, meeting point, and location details.
You’ll know exactly where to go and what to expect.

5) Enjoy the photoshoot

Your photographer will guide you so the photos look natural, not stiff.
Most clients tell us the same thing afterwards: it felt comfortable and fun.

6) Receive your edited gallery

Your photos are professionally edited and delivered digitally, typically within 7 days.

  • Not at all. Most people feel that way at first. Our photographers give clear direction and keep things relaxed, so you look like yourselves.

  • We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance. During peak seasons such as cherry blossom (Spring) and Autumn foliage we recommend booking 2-3 months in advance.

Last‑minute bookings may be possible depending on availability, but earlier booking gives you more flexibility with locations, choice of photographer, and timing.
