The family wanted to celebrate the kids’ shichi-go-san, an important event in Japanese culture.
But of course, because we were involved, things took a turn into a not-so-solemn event. At one time balls, swords, and bubbles were involved.
As expected, smiles were plentiful. And that’s all we could ever hope for.
